Habe ein problem mit nem Update.

Sicherheitsupdate für 2007 Microsoft Office System

Der Download von Microsoft hat geklappt.
Aber bei den Clients bekomme ich die Meldung Download fehlgeschlagen.

Die Clients die es betrifft haben garkein Office2007 drauf nur den Konverter um 2007 datein in bei uns Office 2000 zu öffnen.

Kann damit jemand etwas anfangen?
Wie zu sehen ist werden nachfollgende downloads normal abgeschlossen.

Wurde das Update mittlerweile installiert? Wenn nein, dann mach doch mal das übliche:

net stop wuauserv
Softwaredistribution umbennen
windowsupdate.log leeren oder umbenennen
net start wuauserv

wuauclt /detectnow (20 - 30 x)
wuauclt /reportnow

werde ich gleich mal machen.

Es sind aber alle office 2007 updates betroffen die meinen das sie sich installieren müssen auf office2000 systemen mit Konverter installation.

Der Konverter ist ja aus Office 2007, somit ist das installieren wollen schon korrekt.

Scheint nichts gebracht zu haben.  :-[

Habe jetzt die xlconv.cab aus dem lokalen verzeichniss:

C:\WINNT\SoftwareDistribution\Download\84d30c22b5202487d9340cf3a429cd4d\

selbst entpackt und installiert gab keine probleme.

Nur das ist ja nicht die lösung.

Nein, das ist keine Lösung. Aber da Office 2000 eh nicht mehr unterstützt wird, glaub ich kaum das sich da was tut.

Kannst Du mal den Process Monitor mitlaufen lassen, ich vermute hier gibts irgendwelche Rechteprobleme.

Ist in der CAB ein MSI enthalten? Ein GPO kannst Du via GPO im AD verteilen. Eine EXE hat bestimmt auch Optionen um per Batch als Computerstartupscript installiert zu werden.

aus der xlconv.cab wird eine xlconv.msp.

Bin noch auf Fehler suche ich sehe ja wie die Ordner im verzeichniss "SoftwareDistribution\Download" erstellt werden.

Der Ordner "84d30c22b5202487d9340cf3a429cd4d" wird erstellt aber nicht mehr gelöscht wie im log beschrieben.

Der Ordner "9c50f58c375d536720c74a564e5e3daa" wird erstellt aber sofort wieder gelöscht.

Ich weiß nur nicht warum er sachen doppelt kopieren will.
