Hallo,

ich bin grade dabei einen zweiten WSUS3 Server auf einem Windows 2003 R3 SP2 in englisch zu installieren. Leider bricht die Installation Immer mit folgendem Fehler ab.

Hab auch schon versucht den IIS neu zu installieren, allerding brachte dies auch keinen Erfolg.

Was ist das denn? Originaltext? Führst Du das Setup von einem NW-Laufwerk aus? Kontrolliere mal die NTFS-Berechtigungen auf dem %windir%\Temp Ordner. Sind Ordner oder Laufwerke komprimiert? Welches SP ist von W2K3 installiert?

Das ist Portugiesisch, der Server steht in Portugal. Das Setup liegt auf der lokalen nicht komprimierten Platte und es ist SP2 auf dem Server + alle aktuellen Updates.

Was müssen für Berechtigungen auf den Ordner gesetzt sein. Ist meines Erachtens nach alles Standard.

OK, der Netzwerkdienst sollte Leserechte auf die Root haben. Ein Terminalserver darf es nicht sein.

Das sollte passen und ein Terminalserver ists auch nicht.

Nur noch via Comandline: /q und oder folgenden Key auf "0" setzen:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Update Service\Server\Setup\
WmsdeInstalled

Läuft ein Virenscanner? Wie verbindest Du dich mit dem Server? Via RDP und dem Parameter /console? Du könntest auch mal ein neues Profil probieren.

Kontrolliere doch mal in der Registry ob da noch was vorhanden ist:
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session
Manager\PendingFileRenameOperations
Hast Du rechts noch Einträge? Wenn ja, exportieren und löschen.

Der Fehler kam schon häufiger vor, eine eindeutige Lösung gab es bis dato noch nicht. Es hat auch bei jemandem nach einer Reparatur Installation geklappt.
