Ich habe das Problem, dass ich bei den Vista Clients (von WSUS 3.0) die Installation der Updates nicht manuell starten kann. Ich erhalte zwar die Benachrichtigung, dass neue Updates verfügbar sind, aber ich kann die Installation nicht starten. Ich erhalte lediglich die Meldung das einige Einstellungen vom Systemadministrator verwaltet werden, was so ja auch richtig ist, da die Einstellungen per GPO (AD) gemacht worden sind. Wie kann ich nun die verfügbareb Updates installieren, ohne es automatisch zu einer bestimmten Uhrzeit machen zu lassen. Bei den XP Clients funktioniert das ohne Probleme, nur Vista spielt da nicht mit.

Ausführen als Administrator geht auch nicht? Hast Du UAC deaktiviert?

UAC ist deaktiviert, habe es jetzt so eingestellt, dass um 9:00 Uhr die Updates automatisch installiert werden, mal sehen ob das geht. Habe mich auch mal als Domänen-Administrator angemeldet, was aber auch keine Veränderung brachte.

Fehlermeldungen in der WindowsUpdate.log? Hast Du die Einstellungen für die VISTA-Clients in der GPO gesetzt? Da gibts 3 neue mit dem aktuelle WU-Agent. 2 sollte man da wohl setzen.

Herunterladen und Installation manuell) damit ging es nicht, hatte dann die 5 (von lokalen Admin verwalten) und damit ging es auch nicht, nur mit der 4 (Zu einem bestimmten Zeitpunkt installieren) hat es funktioniert, aber das ist nicht gerade das was ich will. Wenn der User sein Notebook nicht zu dieser Zeit anhat kann es lnge dauern ehe die Updates installiert werden.

Nur die Option 4 funktioniert auf einem Client richtig. Auf einem Server kannst Du auch die Option 3 benutzen. Dann setz noch andere Richtlinien: Zeitplan für geplante Installationen neu erstellen. Das funktioniert so, glaub mir, unsere 50 Notebooks im Außendienst sind immer gut aktuell. Ich hab die Installationszeit auf 12.00 Uhr gesetzt, da erwisch ich immer ziemlich viel. ;)

Das ist das einzigste, das ich gefunden habe. Wenns Probleme mit einem Client gibt und die Meldung in der WindowsUpdate.log zu finden ist, dann am besten den Client auf der WSUS Konsole löschen, und auf dem Client die 3 SIDs löschen:   (Du musst Dich Einloggen oder Registrieren

Das mit dem Installieren der Updates funktioniert jetzt per festgelegter Installationszeit, aber der Client fordert nicht die Ultimate Extras beim WSUS an. Auf dem Client ist Vista Ultimate installiert. Im WSUS sind die Extras auch zur Installation freigegeben, aber der Client fordert sie nicht an.

Na wenigstens etwas, Danke für die Rückmeldung. Zum Rest kann ich dir nicht helfen, kein VISTA, keine Extras. :)

Habe jetzt auch herausgefunden warum die Ultimate Extras nicht angefordert worden sind, die waren schon installiert. Bei mir werden alle Updates automatisch genemigt und so wurden sie wahrscheinlich schon einmal vorher automatisch installiert.
